Element Potassium (K) regulates transportation of nutrients and synthesis thereof in the plant cells, and contributes to formation of buds. By the lack of potassium, leaves look like scorched, with brown edges, and blossom are tiny. Potassium fertilizers can be used in all soils and for most of plants, except for vegetables that do not tolerate chlorine. It is recommended to use this fertilizer in early spring or autumn, when the main fertilization process is carried out, so that chlorine which is harmful to plants could be washed away.
